Agreement to terms
By installing or using Vission Scanner ("the app", "we", "us"), you agree to these Terms & Conditions. If you don't agree, please don't use the app.
Your account
You can use Vission Scanner without an account for local scanning. To sync, share, or unlock paid features you'll need one. Keep your credentials private; you're responsible for activity that happens through your account.
- You must be 13 or older (or the age of digital consent in your country, whichever is higher)
- One person per account
- Notify us within 7 days of any unauthorized access
License to use the app
We grant you a personal, revocable, non-transferable license to use Vission Scanner on devices you own or control. You may not reverse-engineer the app, resell access to it, or use it in a way that interferes with other users.
Free app
Vission Scanner is free to download and use from the Apple App Store. There are no in-app purchases, no subscriptions, and no paid tiers. We don't charge for any feature.
Your content
Whatever you scan stays yours. You grant us only the narrow license needed to operate the app — display your scans back to you, sync them across your devices, and run OCR on your behalf. We never use your scans to train models, sell them, or share them with third parties.
Acceptable use
Don't use Vission Scanner to capture or store anything you don't have rights to, or anything illegal. Specifically, don't use the app to:
- Capture material that infringes copyright, trademark, or privacy rights
- Forge, alter, or deceive (e.g. fabricated invoices or identity documents)
- Harass or threaten others
We may suspend accounts that repeatedly violate this section.
Intellectual property
The app, its design, code, name, and logos are ours (or our licensors'). These Terms don't transfer any of that to you, beyond the license described above.
Termination
You can stop using Vission Scanner any time by deleting your account in Settings → Account → Delete. We can suspend accounts that violate these Terms, with notice when feasible. On termination your local files remain on your device; cloud copies are removed within 14 days.
Disclaimers
Vission Scanner is provided "as is" and "as available." We do our best to keep things working — but we can't guarantee the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or fit for any particular purpose.
Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, our liability for any claim relating to these Terms or the app is capped at what you've paid us in the past 12 months, or USD $100, whichever is greater. We aren't liable for indirect or consequential damages.
Changes to these terms
If we make material changes, we'll notify you in the app and via email at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use after that date means you accept the updated terms.
